Design South is a children's art print shop founded by artist Cassie Rinehart in Charleston, South Carolina.
Design South began the way a lot of good things do — small. Cassie, then a Senior Art Director at an advertising agency, started by creating personalized nursery prints for family and friends. Those early gifts turned into an Etsy shop, and the shop grew into a full-time creative pursuit with a large, always-growing catalog of made-to-order designs for nurseries, kids' rooms, and homes across the country.
Each piece is made to order and giclée printed on premium matte fine art paper, chosen for its depth of color and glare-free finish. Personalization is always free — choose your colors, add a monogram or a favorite quote — and a proof can confirm every custom detail before printing.
Not sure about colors? Send a photo of your nursery bedding or decor and I'll match it — free.
Thank you for supporting a small, artist-run business. Every order, every message, and every photo of your little one's walls means the world.

They’re so vibrant and cute. I even got assistance picking out which color scheme would match best with my picture frames. Great quality and so happy this wasn’t a download I had to upload somewhere and get prints done myself like most shops on Etsy. Took the middle man out of the process and I got exactly what I wanted.
Shop was able to customize and match decor of my daughters room. Very responsive and shipped very quickly.
The quality is nice too. I was very impressed with the time and care with the packaging.
